Taste The Bay Food Festival 2024

The vibrant Taste the Bay Food Festival was held on Easter Sunday at Lamar Waterfront in Rodney Bay Village. Organized by Bay Gardens Resorts, this festival represents the perfect fusion of culinary arts, entertainment, and family-oriented activities, making it the ultimate Sunday Funday for anyone looking to experience the best of Caribbean culture.

Featuring over ten local restaurants, including favorites like Bambooze, AMICI Pizzeria, and Japanos, La Mesa, The Green Zen, Liz Roti, Razmataz, Spices and Hi-Tide Restaurant, attendees had the opportunity to explore the rich flavors and unique traditions that position Rodney Bay as a culinary hub in Saint Lucia. From savory delights to sweet treats, there was something to satisfy every palate.

The festival offered more than just exceptional food; it was a complete family-friendly event. Children had a dedicated area filled with trampolines, bouncy castles, and face painting, while adults enjoyed traditional games such as fishing for bottles, jumbo X and O, and the always entertaining lime and spoon race. The atmosphere buzzed with energy, amplified by music from the Multi-Talented Jugglers and DJ Pressure, creating a festive environment suitable for all ages.

As evening approached, the festival atmosphere intensified with outstanding live performances by local artists. Backed by the Invasion Band, performers like Zionomi, Meshach, Ezra D’FunMachine, Imran Nerdy, Young DP, Shemmy J, Dhirv Too Funny and Sedale delivered an eclectic mix of Reggae and Soca, culminating with a standout performance by Ricky T, which set the perfect tone for the upcoming 2024 Carnival season.
