How far in advance should I plan my St. Lucia wedding?
Interested couples may book their island wedding as far in advance as they’d like in order to meet their desires. However, we often suggest that couples secure their chosen date at least 6-8 months in advance for the purposes of ensuring that all of the required legal documents are in order. We also advise couples to bear in mind that St. Lucia laws require them to be in the country for at least 4 (four) working days prior to their island wedding day.
What time of day is best to host my island wedding?
From our experience, we find that most couples choose to have their island wedding ceremonies between 3-4 pm during the summer and 2-3pm during the winter, in order to capitalize on the day light for beautiful wedding photos.
Do you host island weddings every day of the week?
Yes. You’re welcome to exchange wedding vows at Bay Gardens Resorts on any day of the week, including holidays, provided there is availability.
Will there be another island wedding at the resort on the same day as mine?
In order to provide our couples with the best, most personalized service, we’ve developed a “one wedding per property, per day” policy so you and your loved one can receive the attention you deserve on your special day.
What locations do you have for us to exchange wedding vows or to hold our wedding reception?
All three Bay Gardens Resorts properties are ideally located in Rodney Bay Village – where St. Lucia’s most beautiful beach, Reduit Beach, is situated – and have highly-maintained, lush gardens. This opens up a world of stunning settings from which couples can choose as their wedding location in St. Lucia. Type of weddings and receptions that couples have hosted at our hotels and resorts in St. Lucia include:
- Gazebo Weddings
- Garden Weddings
- Beach Weddings by the Sea
- Indoor Weddings
- Poolside Weddings
My fiancé and I are interested in eloping to St. Lucia. Are you able to accommodate?
Most certainly! We love to host intimate eloping ceremonies just as much as we love to host large wedding ceremonies. We only ask that you request availability with our Island Wedding Coordinators 14 days prior to the date you wish to wed. Also, please keep in mind that St. Lucia requires couples to be on island for at least 4 working days prior to the day of the wedding ceremony, and that often, legal documents take time to gather together.
How do I select which Bay Gardens property (Hotel, Inn or Beach Resort) to host my island wedding?
While you can expect exceptional customer service, professionalism, and warmth from all of our properties in St. Lucia, each location is very unique aesthetically. To better understand which property is most suitable for you, please view our Wedding brochure.
